The Client

Chowbus is an online food delivery platform that specializes in connecting users with high-quality, authentic Asian cuisine from local restaurants. The platform offers curated restaurant picks, meal recommendations, and features like bundling dishes from multiple places in one order. Chowbus primarily targets Asian immigrants, Asian American communities, food enthusiasts, and millennials.

Campaign Goal

Promoting the service in conjunction with Chinese Lunar New Year

Chowbus was expanding into new delivery markets and wanted to align its Wild Posting® campaign with Chinese Lunar New Year. The message: celebrate the new year with exquisite Asian food.

The Challenge

A major time crunch for the campaign rollout

The client wanted to hit seven different North American markets — and we only had a week before Lunar New Year to make it happen. We moved fast and got it done.

Campaign Solution

Finding high-foot traffic areas in the seven cities

We targeted high-traffic neighborhoods in Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Vancouver — all home to large Asian American populations. To highlight Chowbus’s colorful creative, we recommended standard-sized Wild Posters for quick production and consistent visual impact.
